The drawings in this exhibition are allegorical portraits which I initially created to give visual expression to where I found myself in my personal journey of faith. I developed them further to become archetypes of spiritual conditions. I was particularly inspired by the work of the German Renaissance artist Albrecht Durer and composed some of the pieces in dialogue with his work.
